Zaterdag 21 april = RECORD STORE DAY!
Tuurlijk doet Vynilla weer hard mee op dit feest van de onafhankelijke platenwinkels.
Zeer uitgebreide selectie RDS-releases en de focus ligt uiteraard op 2 eigen uitgaven op het Vynilla Vinyl label.
Het debuut van "Love Like Birds" brengen we uit op 10inch: 100 genummerde exemplaren slechts! Laat hem signeren door Elke voor of na haar optreden, iets na de ...middag.
De full LP van "Tiny Legs Tim" wordt VV009 op het Vynilla huislabel. Slechts 75 genummerde exemplaren voor RSD + extra CD met onuitgegeven nummers én downloadcode. In een prachtige zeefdrukhoes van de hand van Smeraldina Rima Levi en met liner-notes van blues-gothfather Roland. Ook Tim speelt live (tss 14 en 15u) op het trottoir voor de winkel.
Feest dus met hapjes en drank, si si... lekkere bio-wijn van Vin Il Y A.
Voor de gelegenheid gaat Vynilla open om 10u.
Reservaties dienen afgehaald voor 14u, zoniet belanden ze in de rekken.

Vynilla made a drastic move on the record fairs!
Only 5 meters instead of 20 and we don't bring cd's anymore.
Much better news is the fact that the shop will be open during the Ghent fair. It's only a few minutes walking from the ICC.
Now sunday march 11, we have some surprises. On the fair not our normal stuff but a huge collection of LP's & singles at sell-out prices. They are all as new (but often with the former owner's initials on the cover)
In Vynilla Record Shop will we sell the better items from this collection. Be the first to grab them!. Second hand cd's will sell at 30% off and we will pay your entrance fee from the fair (6€) back if you buy for at least 50€ from our second hand section. Hartelijk dank aan al mijn klanten die in 2011 en bij uitbreiding de laatste 30 jaar plaatjes bij Vynilla hebben gekocht. Eveneens een dikke duim voor mijn collegas die volhouden in deze moeilijke tijden van gratis kopiëren en illegaal downloaden.
Ook in 2012 zal ik me weer inspannen om plaatselijke delicatessen te serveren, ambachtelijk lekkers vanuit elke uithoek te importeren en vitrine en bakken te vullen met onwaarschijnlijk interessante trouvailles.

Geen idee aan hoeveel duizenden klanten ik die verjaardag heb te danken....
In dat 30e jaar staat er heel wat te gebeuren en laten we daar vanaf zondag mee beginnen: op de Internationale Platenbeurs te Kortrijk geven we korting op 2e hands cd's en ook de volledige volgende week in de winkel: 30% bij aankoop van 3 stuks en 35% vanaf 5 exmplaren. Astamblief!

Bherman recorded this new version in Nashville, USA. With the little help of Tony Crow and Mark Nevers (Lambchop), the Nashville String Machine (Springsteen, Neil Young, ...) and The McCrary Sisters, for years the black backingsingers of Bob Dylan. Result is a superb version of this country ballad.
We released 2 limited editions: only 100 copies on black vinyl and 200 copies numbered and signed on white wax
Official release on october, monday 3th, but you can buy it from now on on this site.
On october, thursday 20th, Bherman & Band will perform on the street just at Vynilla Record Shop. Start: 8:30 pm. Be there, we serve music and drinks.
